I have eczema on my ears and behind the ears, just about drives me nuts with all the itching. I have tried?
several over the counter lotions and creams, and have several prescriptions filled, nothing seems to work, any ideas for making this stuff better, I already know that there is no cure for it, but just would like some relief !!!

Hi, you can try one of the natural treatments for eczema from the Internet – some of them do work. For my eczema I use herbal cream by Champori quite successfully. It takes just a couple of weeks to clear the spots and they stay clear for months on end.
Try it: champori comes with money back guarantee so if it doesn't work for you - it's free.

My son had eczema for the first 3 years of his life. His was not stress related and eventually went away, but did require a RX...it was pretty severe. BUT, I know an adult who has SEVERE eczema and she said it flares up during stressful times...I've seen hers and it's really does. SO, i guess it just depends on the person. BUT, dry skin behind the ears is not uncommon. both my kids tend to be dry there.

I was plagued with eczema for many, many years until I fixed my diet. Poor nutrition and high stress will result in eczema. For a quick fix, with your Doctor's OK, try taking New Chapter vitamins (very expensive - available on line). Take the appropriate ones for your age group, as well as taking organic flax seed oil capsules (available at Walmart) every day, plus plenty of water. Stay away from caffeine, nicotine, and other stuff that robs your body of minerals and vitamins. Lastly, using Lubriderm for sensitive skin after showering helps a lot. Stay away from any products containing Lanolin or Lanolin Alcohol (or anything that looks like it contains part of the word Lanolin) - it is famous for causing dermatitis and eczema. Many hair products have it. This may be why you have it on your ears.
