Does Toronto have angles that FSN channels don't?

I've seen a few calls that Toronto has overruled that were sure clear to stand but were overruled by Toronto after. So I'm just wondering if they have different angles?

And if anyone has an angle where it shows that the whole puck actually crossed the goal line in Ott's shootout winner, I'd appreciate it.

Tom, everybody who saw the replay said it was no goal. Ken Daniels is paid by Fox Sports Detroit, and he does have a Wings bias; but even coverage by NBC the next day - Pierre McGuire, Jeremy Roenick, and God forbid, Mike Milbury said it was no goal.

There was NO conclusive evidence that it completely crossed the goal line.

Toronto has all the angles that are shot during the game. The networks and broadcasters are required to make them available to the war room as required. I didn't see the play nor the replay but if the referee on the ice called it no goal and after review the decision was changed there must have been conclusive evidence in Toronto that showed the puck crossing the line.

BTW just because Ken Daniels said that it wasn't in doesn't make it so. After all he is paid by the Red Wings isn't he?

  • The wings are fighting for their playoff lives. Sure its early, but what if the wings end up in 9th place by 1 point?

    -EDIT-

To let you know though, Toronto goes by all camera angles... They would take Dallas cameras and Detroit cameras and look at them both.

Tornto said no goal. the ref that was right there by it said no goal. but the ref on the OPPOSITE side said yes. and the linesman at the blueline said yes. so it was a goal. that is the worst officiating ive ever seen. that cud cost us a playoff spot. thats the 4th time the wings have been screwed over by refs this yr. unreal

Source(s): Ken Daniels said it on postgame on FSN

I wonder, too. I think Dallas just got one great big gift. Good game by the Stars, though. But, why'd it hafta be OTT?!
