Who out there believes that the USA will one day be attacked?

I feel like Russia is less of a threat. If anything, China would present a problem. I'm young so I don't know all that much...but I know that Walmart isn't helping us have a great relationship with them. I personally hope that sweat-shops will be done away with, and people can work for fair pay. All those imports...

China won't attack us. Why? Because they're growing too fast. A country can't keep growing forever. There has to be a peak. Then it will go down. There is social unrest in China, the coast is the most prosperous region, while the peasants are getting poorer in the mainland. Besides, China relies on the U.S to buy most of it's goods. If they attacked us, their economy would suddenly plummet. Ours would be effected, but not as much as China's.

Russia won't attack us because of how fragmented and isolated the people are. They don't have very many people compared with us, and they're spread out throughout the country. Not only that but they're surrounded by nations that are members of NATO, so if Russia attacked us then they'd be ganged up upon.

It heavily isn't Russia, they have an excellent variety of room to develop interior their very very own u . s ., It heavily isn't China, they want to sell us their junk so they are able to construct their militia to benefit means of their region, China does no longer attack this type of a techniques away aim, plus different motives. We would stand a good chance at keeping an entire country from declaring war on us...no country wants to go to war. China and Russia don't WANT to go to war with us. War hurts them, too.

It has happened plenty of times before and there's no reason to think it won't happen again.

The saddest part to me is that people tend to forget that every attack on a US soldier is an attack on the US itself. So all these people that claim that we were only attacked under Bush/Cheney once seem to forget the THOUSANDS of attacks over the past eight years.

We are still under attack. The difference is that non-military folks get to live their lives with little or no exposure to the very real and very vicious attacks our military experiences on a daily basis.

Seems these people are not just a bigger threat to American freedoms than external terrorists but completely anti American!!!

Geopolitics and international warfare are for the president and the Congress to worry about. Elect the best people you can and let them do their job.

As an inidivudal, I have very little to do with geopolitics. And truth be told the people who run the geopolitical world probably don't even know or care that I exist.

Sad to say, I'm sure in the future there will be an attack again. There almost was one on Christmas day, Thank God the bomber didn't know what he was doing, and a man on the plane jumped him.

It's possible. Especially now that we're so preoccupied with Haiti. Who's watching the hen house. America is more hated than many can believe.

China would be much better off keeping trade relations with the US rather than attacking it
