Do single men ever want to JUST cuddle with a female friend?
I've had this friend for four years. Actually he's managed to become a lot more to me. He is my dinner companion, my mechanic, my masseuse, and easily my best friend. Had spent the night with him a couple of times when I/he needed a friend or just needed the companionship. When we slept in the same bed we'd both roll over with our backs to each other and go to sleep. But the last few times wasn't like that at all. He cuddled up to and held me all night but never did try anything more. Over the years people have been telling both of us that we belong together, that we are like magnets to each other, etc.
I've always had a lot of male friends and I've never had a problem maintaining boundaries. The line between friendship and more has always been solid and well defined, but now it's gotten blurry and I'm not quite sure what this means, if anything. Help!
I feel the same. Cuddling is a more intimate thing. Truth is I believe that many people have always seen us as being inevitable, and a couple of friends have even used that word when referring to us. It's the way I've felt, but I have never said anything to anyone about it.

I would say that friends hug rather than cuddle. Cuddle is a bit more intimate isnt it? Why would you sleep in bed together all night cuddling? That in itself is not really normal in a friendship! I would ask him outright how he feels. But, think carefully because if you do embark on a relationship you may spoil this friendship.

Yes, some men do just like to cuddle. If you're interested in a dating relationship I'd talk to him about it. A dating relationship could ruin your friendship though.

well..ask urself what u feel and want first..if u feel he is "special" to u, his cuddle made u happy, then talk to him abt wat u feel...cos a cuddle to me means something...
