I did not hear Rush L. say anything, but I have heard that the government , what there is of it in Haiti is thought to be so corrupt that no donations should be given to the government but to private organizations who get those donations directly to the people needing help.

Rush Limbaugh is saying that the money for Haiti should come from private sources, not from government. Dubya and Clinton are both soliciting money from private donors, not from government.

Personally, I can't stand Limbaugh or Bush, but I agree that the money should come from private donors, particularly because our govt would have to borrow money from China to give to Haiti. That doesn't make much sense to me.

I am not giving one penny to a country that didn't support our war on terror and can't stand the sight of us. Besides, since Obama took it upon himself to donate our tax dollars (to the tune of 80 Million), I feel no need to give anything.

So to answer you: Rush Limbaugh.

Your logic like your knowledge of the TRUTH is missing....Rush did not say do not give to Haiti...he said do not give to the US Government to give to Haiti....there is a difference...but you need a BRAIN to understand the difference...

do what rush said give but not to the gov and be careful because 70 cents from each dollar the needy will not get. so whats wrong with that it makes sense

I'd be pleased to contribute to Haitian relief but, due to Obama's policies I have no money and no job.

My country, The USA, has none either and, thanks to the Liberal government of Pelosi, Reid and Obama, we are in debt beyond our ability to pay. If I am able to get some money I'll hoard it to pay for my family's medical care because Medicare will not be able to now that Obama wants to gut it.
