No. As with pretty much all of the Constitution, it is time to leave it the hell alone.

Those who continue to suggest that have no idea what there talking about, the Electoral College works, and except for some minor needed alterations, is the best system.

Won't happen. Would require a constitutional amendment approved by 3/4 of the state legislatures. The smaller states would never do that.

One person = one vote...that's how it should be and that's the only way to make it so that the majority wins. The Electoral Collage is out of date and doesn't work properly anymore.

In a country where the majority is supposed to rule how can anyone in their right mind advocate a system that allows someone who wins the majority of votes to be the loser?

Why don't we just abolish the party system and let people vote with who they feel is the best candidate.

George Washington even said that in his Farewell Address.

Nope- it serves the purpose that it was devised to serve. People who advocate for its termination are scary because they show a complete ignorance of WHY our systems were set up the way they were.

You must be anti-Obama and trying really hard to find ways to crookedly win on the next elections HA HA!

And replace it with what? How would this effect smaller states? What are your alternatives?

What I would like to see is an end to electronic voting.Private corporations are now conducting our elections...that is Democracy derailed.

Yes I think it was created so only a few people actually controlled who is the next president.

Heck no, we need it more than ever now. It is an important check on election fraud.
