What discipline is the Stubben Cavalleria intended for?

I'd been looking for an English saddle for a long time and just bought (what seems to be) a bargain. It's a new Stubben Cavalleria for $75 with all the fittings too! It looks very different than any saddle i've used before though.

Update:

It is new from a private party, not a store. It was an unwanted gift that had been sitting around in their tack room. I'm sure it is the real deal, it has a serial number on the bottom of the flap that I have verified with Stubben, and the correct manufacturer's plates and buttons.

It looks like a close contact/all-purpose saddle. However, make sure you have the right information. A new Stubben saddle will not sell for $75 with all the fittings. They sell for about $1,500-$2,000 new. Is the saddle used? That's totally fine, used is definitely a great way to save a ton of money, but if someone is promising you a new Stubben for $75 I hope you're not getting ripped off. Maybe it is a saddle that is similar to a Stubben? I would check into that if I were you.

I'm with Julie. A new Stubben for $75 sounds fishy to me. There might be something wrong with the tree. Have it checked out by a saddler to make sure there's nothing wrong with it.

It's a close contact saddle. If the saddle is in good order, I'm pretty sure that qualifies as bargain of the year!

Looking at them they appear to be close contact. A very old close contact though. Mind you where I'm from close contact means jumping saddle. I don't know if that rings true everywhere else. I imagine it looks different to what you've seen as it doesn't seem to be cut very far forward and has no discernible knee rolls.
