i still havent got much of an appetite back 17 weeks into pregnancy. similar situations or advice?

all i want to eat is fast food, and rasberries, lol.

i can't afford fast food every day! and shouldn't eat only that during pregnancy!

i try to eat at home, but almost all the food i could make myself sounds awful.

i am hungry ALL THE TIME!

but when i eat i eat as much as i can til i'm full, then i'm hungry again 10 minutes later!

( just went to the doctor for assessment over babys bodily functions, new due date and sex,

i am 17 weeks, i thought i was 19... and it's a baby BOY :D )

Congrats on the pregnancy!! Lots to look forward to, like feeling those kicks :)

We all have crazy cravings and it's ok to eat some of what we crave. Raspberries are high in Vitamin C, so eat all that you want :) We all know that fast food is horrible, but that doesn't mean you can't have burgers and chicken nuggets. Just make them at home with super lean meat, and load up on the veggie toppers. Making home made chicken strips or nuggets is easy,a nd quite frankly tastes better and fills you up with less meat--because it's real meat.

If you're constantly hungry, you're probably eating too many carbs and not enough protein. You should be eating about 60-75 grams of protein a day either from meat, nuts, dairy or leafy greens. Eating every two hours is fine, just reduce your portions to modest levels.

at 17 weeks the baby hits a period of rapid growth, my appetite kicked into high gear just like this at the same time. Eat Healthy whole grain foods, proteins, and veggies that are bright or dark green you'll feel fuller and you'll be healthier

I recommend "Healthy Expectations" It's a book on pregnancy and nutrition I bought my copy at Amazon very cheap

kind of a similar story; a friend of mine was so hungry all the time that she had to eat constantly (not even exadurating; constantly). She gained soooo much weight! And if she ever stopped eating, almost like clock work about an hour later she would vomit. ...yuk! hope that doesn't happen to you!
