For people in MA - why did Scott Brown win?

I want to know your opinion (and please tell me if you are from MA) - curious is "All politics is local" or there is something else is in play.

Update:

"curious if" is what I meant to type:)

I'm from Dorchester, liberal Democrat and Obama supporter, and I voted for Brown today. Coakley was simply a terrible candidate, and Scott Brown is a pretty decent guy. He was ready for prime time. Coakley wasn't.

That lady came off as straight evil, she wouldn't shake hands with people, had a cold feel to her.

She allegedly hid money while filing for the seat, but most important to my vote,

She never made any valid points, it was all argumentum ad hominem. she just called names, never really debated, she was a scary lady.
