How do you get yellow stains off linoleum?
I've had rubber backed throw rugs on our kitchen lino for a few years and have noticed they are leaving yellow stains. How can I get the stains off? Just moping with **** and span does nothing.

You can't ..the stains are now permanent , as if the manufacturer put them there , you did . Do not put rubber throwmrugs on your floor ! Why cover anyway ? You need to replace floor and do not put no more throw rugs on any more !~

What a good question. When I moved out of my apartment, I moved my red rubber backed rug only to find a yellow and very noticeable stain on the linoleum. NOTHING took it out. My fiance and I scrubbed for literally days. We used special removers like Goo Gone and Oxy Clean, bleach, Mr Clean Magic Stick, I am telling you not to waste your time. Unfortunately, it will not come out.
