Lets see, a christian fanatic put bible quotes on equipment with out the permission or knowledge of the people they were manufactured for thus forcing their ideology on people without their permission and this is a persecution of christian rights. You are correct since christians feel that they have the right to force their ideas on everyone.

Perhaps you should look for the definition of "persecution" in a dictionary dear....

Beware though, accessing sources of knowledge might lead you to a crave for education and knowledge and when the education level goes up, religious delusions and superstitions quietly fade away. Perhaps you won't like that.

This objectionable practice breaks a government rule that bars proselytizing by American troops.

The religious references should be immediately removed from the weapons.

This is just the opposite of persecution.

    No.

The early Christians who were executed or thrown to the lions would like to have a word with you about your definition of "persecution."

no its a good example of upholding the Constitution of the United States of America and New Zeland's laws regarding religion..

Calling this and other similar situations persecution is really demeaning to people who are and were persecuted (even Christians before christianity became the majority, and even in some horirble situations where Christians were persecuted in recent history)

    Absolutely not.

I would think that a Real Christian™ would know better than to put a Biblical quote on a weapon of destruction and murder. The whole concept is abhorrent.

There is no example of something that has never happened. The "persecution" of Christians is a lie of history. It has never occurred.

No, I think it's a fair way of dealing with the situation..

It is the right of the company to put whatever they want on the gun, just as it's the right of the army who purchases them to remove the passage...

Until we go back to forcing christians to fight in gladatorial combat with lions in a public arena setting, christians can't be complaining about persecution.

You would think that any Christian in his right mind would insist that religious quotations from the Bible not be put on deadly weapons.

    You would think.
