A hard question for you statistics guru's...?

What is the most number of curveballs thrown in a single AB, during the 7th inning or later of a game that is played on a Tuesday, in an outdoor stadium, with a lefty pitcher on the mound and a right-handed batter in the box, a runner on 2nd base, a rookie 3rd baseman on the field, during a tie ball game?

    Oh, c'mon. No one really knows the answer to such a question.

    Real baseball statisticians are called Sabermetricians and are not really concerned with trivia type questions.

    Their thing is improving on our knowledge of baseball and using "baseball stats" to project how to improve baseball clubs, plus other things that can help the average fan to understand the game and what goes on during any particular game.

    12....by Frank Tanana in 1985 with Chris Pittaro playing 3rd base at Tiger Stadium. Forgot the other team and the batter (it was the other team....didnt care about them).
