Is it slutty/tacky to wear red fishnet pantyhose with a black dress?
I'm in university, and I am going to a formal that's only for students. It's just a fun thing that the students union in my university puts on with dinner and a dance. I have this really short black dess that I'm going to wear. It is just a few inches below my butt. You can't see my butt at all it's just very short. Now I have these bright red fishnet pantyhose that I could wear with a pair of bright red heels, or I could wear blue tights with purple flats trust me it actually looks nice) I've never worn fishnets before but are they to tacky/slutty? My friends say it's ok but Im a pretty modest person.

The university formal for students sounds like a lot of fun! The short black dress sounds hot as does the red heels although sandals would be more appropriate for a formal.
Regarding the red fishnet pantyhose, do not wear them. Pantyhose is very 1990s. They are hot, itchy and tear easily plus they do not improve your looks at all. Go with bare legs, it looks more natural and is the way most formals are meant to be. I like your choice of black dress with red, that is wonderful.

I think shoes that are lighter than the pantyhose would look weird, especially since neither are the same color as the dress. Wear either nude pantyhose with the gray shoes or black shoes with the black pantyhose.

Yeah I Dont think it will look very good. I suggest just wearing the dress and red heels. Although If you can find an even cuter Dress like this one

Depends on your personality... some people could wear them and pull them off and other girls make them look tacky.
