What Evangelion DVD set should I get?
I just started watching it, a little late I know, and I'm not sure about whether or not to get the platinum collection, the one in the tin, or if I should get the new rebuild, though it seems to lack extras. does the platinum have English 5.1audio? I checked but I couldn't find the details on it. Is the rebuild worth it?
If you own any of these or both I want your feedback, I won't be getting blu-ray because I don't have and HDtv so it won't be worth the investment anytime soon.
I found out the 2-disc special edition of the eva rebuild will be out 3-9-2010 with the extras soooooo
But is the platinum box set in 5.1 English Audio?

The Rebuild is a whole new Evangelion.
Don't go for that one. Go for the Platinum edition boxset, that's what I have. Has director's cut episodes in great quality and lots of other special features. It is definitely worth your time.
Also pick up the End of Evangelion on DVD before you get the Rebuild. By March you should have filled yourself up on Evangelion goodness to be ready for the RoE blur ray, or DVD if that's your preference ;)
