i have a question about an acura integra, and oil.?
i have a little acura integra, 5 speed manual transmission, 1989 model, and i have a problem. the car has burned oil ever since i bought it, but i have always added more, about every 200 miles, ive driven it for about 60k miles, and i never got an oil change because i figured since it burned oil, the used oil buildup would not be a problem...i think i may have been wrong, because now 2 cylinders arent firing, i have replaced the idle air control motor, the plugs, the wires, and the distributor cap...my question is, would getting an oil change now possibly fix anything? the oil is very very black, no water in the oil...best answer gets my 10 points!
yes yes, hind sight and all of that, but my question is will changing the oil now make those 2 cylinders fire?

Yes change the oil & filter.Get them to do a head on,injector cleaning as well & flush the crap out of the engine, before adding the new stuff..Should notice a marked improvement,in all aspects of
performance..Happy motoring.Stay well & happy.Be safe.

You really did a job on that engine. Get an oil change ASAP and pray that you didn't screw up the seals.
