Vietnamese or Thai Food?
Which cuisines do you like more and why? Please answer only if you have tried both.
Please give reason. A lot of answers do not tell why you favor one cuisine over the other. I have a feeling you haven't tried both cuisines.
One individual said she likes Thai better because she works in a Thai Restaurant.

Vietnamese!
Lemongrass is my favorite spice/herb ever! And the spicy tang of nuoc mam -- yum!-- combines my favorite sour, hot and savory flavors all in one sauce! All the places around here make it differently so it is an adventure to try, and it is always good! Same with the 1,000,000 types of delicious Pho. Plus everything is always light and fresh yet you leave full and happy.
But the best part is the food philosophy. Foods are hot or cold or designated with some other elemental and then combined together for spiritual and physical health. Like eating feng shui. Cool and it works! When I had chemo, I got free ginger water (which I was made to drink in the shop thanks Thein! ) along with my delicious twice weekly orders. Oh yeah and now I'm in remission. Thai food never helped me like that. Point to Vietnamese cuisine!

I like them both, and even have cookbooks on both cuisines... I find Thai food to be spicier that Vietnamese, and I like spicy food, so I will say Thai...

i am vietnamese so im tired of it!!!
but i think i would choose thai because i loveeeeee pad thai!
