I don't think the 3000 series is hackable... yet. Sony is trying harder and harder to stop hackers and custom software with every new firmware and hardware release. Pandora batteries can be purchased on ebay. You can also make a pandoras battery, there is a way to make one without opeining it but you need to already be running cfw and it wont work on newer Sony brand batteries. If you do open your battery, it will be difficult to return to a normal battery. I made my pandora out of an old "fat" battery i had. However, the battery will be useless if your psp cant be hacked... So what im saying is, I dont think the psp 3000s are hackable yet, the batteries can be bought on ebay but they will be useless since your psp is currently "unhackable". Dont try any steps on going to cfw unless they say they work on psp 3000, as you might brick your psp making it useless.

Source(s): running cfw on psp 2000, had to downgrade from 6.20... took me about a month to find what finally worked.
