'Simple' C4 Maths Question?

I really don't know how to do this...Teacher wants me to teach myself, with no resources! Yes i'm taking it up with the head.

Anyways

It's integration i believe.

Find the area enclosed by the curve y = e^-2x, the axes and x = 2.

That's the question exactly as presented in my book. Can you show the working too? I have 1/2 - 1/2e^4

Not sure if it's right as i don't have answers but i've no clue how i got it really :/

Stay sharp. I'll probably have more questions soon lol!

Update:

Thanks man. I did that but added instead of taking away, hence why I got +1/2 instead of minus 1/2

First, lets integrate e^-2x, this becomes -0.5e^-2x. To find the area we must evaluate this from x=0 to x=2. So we get -0.5(e^-4)-0.5 and thats your answer.
