Without knowing your diet, it's hard to pinpoint the problem area.
My personal experience is that if I eat a lot of fat, my fasting blood sugars are generally higher than usual for about 3-4 days in a row. My spikes seem to be a bit higher than expected too.
Add up your total calories and where they come from. See where you can cut back about 250 calories per day.
If so, you can lose up to 1 pound a week.
Also, drink a lot of extra water. I dropped a spike of 186 down to 139 in 1 hour by drinking 30 ounces of cool water. Another hour after that and I was at 103.
Hydration does make a difference.
Note: I too have the same problems with not being able to exercise because of my knees & back. It HAS to be really warm for me to be able to even walk outside. And shoulders likk me if I lift anything.
So, I eat a little less. On the days I can walk 30 minutes at a time, I can eat more.

I did exercise weightloss disc and I lost about 20 pounds in not even 3 months. And I've kept it off
for almost 2 years now. I found it to be the way because it pretty effective and you didn't have to
count points or anything like that. What I lost really isn't typical for the amount of time I did it
but I know others who have done it and they got really good results from it as well.here you can find
a good weight loss disc http://www.weightlossdisc.com/

Here’s a pop quiz. Escalators help us to: 1.Move up and down faster 2. Gain weight 3. Stand stupidly as they move up and down 4 Look down at other people when you are going down 5. Look up to others when we are going up you have to pick the correct answer from the 5 alternatives given. You can see for your self that all the options are in a way correct. So the next time you travel on an escalator, don’t just stand there…climb up or down along with it. (Or better yet, take the stairs.)

Try swimming or water walking. Discuss this with your endocrinologist - the work with people who have weight issues not just diabetes. Your endo can also arrange for you to meet with a dietician.

If there is a pool nearby go for swims as often as you can, swimming is one of the best exercises. Water has a lot of advantages. And if nothing else, a cool dip in a pool is a wonderful stress reliever.

Change your diet, exercise without food control will not bear much result.
Too much food like coke, sugar, white bread, potato, yam, rice, cake, flour will increase blood sugar level. Avoid fruit like durian, water melon, papaya.
But you can eat some of these, provided you keep the quantity small.
