Do you know why Republicans hate liberalism, and education?

"Universal education is the most corroding and disintegrating poison that liberalism has ever invented for its own destruction"

"How fortunate for Governments, that the people they administer don't think"

- Adolf Hitler

Update:

He also said he was a christian. And like the right wingers today. He believe in peace through power.

As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice”

- Adolph Hitler

Update 2:

Like his friend and allied Mussolini, Hitler too hated socialism and communism.

"The streets of our country are in turmoil. The universities are filled with students rebelling and rioting. Communists are seeking to destroy our country. Russia is threatening us with her might, and the Republic is in danger. Yes - danger from within and without. We need law and order! Without it our nation cannot survive.

-Adolph Hitler

Update 3:

So what is the difference between Republicans and Fascist?

1. "Socialism is a fraud, a comedy, a phantom, a blackmail."

2. State ownership! It leads only to absurd and monstrous conclusions; state ownership means state monopoly, concentrated in the hands of one party and its adherents, and that state brings only ruin and bankruptcy to all."

3. "I do not intend to defend capitalism or capitalists. They, like everything human, have their defects. I only say their possibilities of usefulness are not ended.

Capitalism has borne the monstrous burden of the war and today still has the strength to shoulder the burdens of peace.

--Benito Mussolini

Update 4:

No difference at all between fascism and republicanism. The words have become synonymous.

The 14 Characteristics of Fascism

Republicans per se don't hate Liberals, they disagree with the LITERALISTIC direction they want to take the country. Republicans have been the party of LIMITED Government both in SIZE and AFFECT. The Republican Base believe in FAIR Taxation, not EXCESSIVE Taxation. They believe in a FAIR but FREE Market based economy. As far as Education is concerned, Republicans are definitely NOT against education, the Base is against Education that only presents 1 side. Currently in Texas, the Texas Board of Education has drafted new requirements on WHAT should be printed in textbooks. They have BANNED or RESTRICTED ANY mention of the Founding Fathers, The Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, the Liberty Bell and various sundry other things that make up the CORE of what this country stands for. Today, our country is experiencing something it hasn't had to deal with since 2 generations ago. A growing Progressive movement that only has 1 goal in mind. To make the Federal Government so hugh and in-twined into our lives that we as a people will have no choice but to submit to it. Progressives started this path back in the early part of the 20th century with T. Roosevelt, then W. Wilson. They made a big push with FDR but were beat down and went underground with Eisenhower and the McCarthy Era. They poked their heads out with Johnson, then Carter but came out of the woodwork with Obama. They have pretty much taken control of the Education system through the unions and "Liberal" thinking professors in higher Academia. 35 years ago, I attended high school and I took an AMERICAN CIVICS COURSE. It taught the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence and how they ALL worked together to form "a more perfect UNION...". There was no spin, no interpretation, just facts. Today, you can't even find a "Civics" class in high schools. What is taught as "Political Science" is crap from so called Constitutional Lawyers that feel the Constitution is a "Living, Breathing Document" that needs to be expanded and allowed to grow with the times. That is BS. The Constitution is just a piece of Parchment with some very powerful words written on it. The Founding Fathers wrote it to RESTRICT the Federal Government, to keep the people in control. Progressives have changed that by modifying the Educational System over the decades to "DUMB" the people down. No, Republicans are not against education. They want education that teaches FACTs whether they are FAVORABLE or NOT to the Nation. When we as a people lose our history, we lose our right to self governance. I don't hate Liberals. My Mother in Law is a Liberal. A Liberal in the ORIGINAL Sense of the term. I love her very much and I have spirited discussions with her. I look forward to speaking politics with her because she comes from the generation that saw the Progressives make their first assault on this country.

The man you quoted was a demon. The most Godless man in history. But truer words were never spoken. I wish to leave these quotes with you. "...Ask NOT what your Country can do for you, ASK what YOU can do for your Country..." JF Kennedy, 1961. "A Government OF the People, BY the People, FOR the People..." A Lincoln, 1864. "Speak BOLDLY and Forever hold to the TRUTH..." T. Jefferson, 1789. These men wanted us to QUESTION Authority, HOLD them to the Principals allowed by our Constitution and NOT allow them to twist it to suit their means or needs.

Yes, it depends on what kind of education you are talking about, right now, you should consider that conservatism is on the rise, people have become educated. On the other hand--Consider public education,, just this one thing... uniforms... what do you suppose that teaches? I see it as a lesson in conforming,, students are made to conform to the system, making nice little sheeple.

Not all Republicans are ignorant SOBs who hate education and "liberalism." I think what you said only applies to the nutjob sect of the Republican party.
