i have to come up with a topic to research concerning political science?

perhaps you could compare and contrast 2-3 different time periods in history with regards as to the politics of that period, how culture was affected by and affected the politics and how art/architecture promoted or showed what was going on at that time.

I was a pol. science major when I was in school. You might want to look at the media and political elections especially the Presidential election. Some argue a liberal bias... there is lots of information on this. I actually did a similar paper 10 years ago and also used it for a communications class I was taking. There will be several elections this November as well. I think it could be quite an in depth paper.

You need to be really comfortable with the topic for this kind of essay. What interests you? What do you already possess a sound knowledge of? What are you passionate about? How do those things tie into poli sci? I'd stay away from the revisionist history idea from the ideologue. You'll need credible sources. Good luck.
