I'm having trouble writing for my metal band. Please help?

This song is about "the adder" and I need to insead of just using things I know about the actual snake, i also need things that may make it kindof fantasy oriented, butt when I try to think of anything more, it dies. Here are my lyrics so far:

The Adder

Those who loathe those brothers with scales and fangs

Watch your actions with caution

For he strikes those who would smite him

His glory in one shining scale worth more than all of your gold!

The adder waits for destiny

His watchful eye never blinking

He sees a weakness, then he strikes

His mouth is death to all ?????

I don't need helpp revising, I just need to finish writng it, I would appreciate any phrases, words, verses, ideas, etc you think might it into the song. If I use any of your material, you will be thanked in our CD booklet, with credit for helping me with this song.

Those are some really good lyrics!

    Here's some suggestions:

    1. Try giving it a fantasy/swords-and-sorcery element without making it too Spinal Tap-cheesy.

    2. Who is the adder after? What kind of people/creatures are his enemies? Describe them. Why are they his opponents? Do his opponents have a history of prosecuting him you could incorporate into the lyrics without making it too lengthy?

    Hope that helps!

Better: Pantera - Each album obtained heavier, quicker, and extra clear of the mainstream. GWAR - Some will argue, however I suppose their final few releases have been a excellent benefit over their natural "surprise rock" sort. Theyre most likely getting heavier and tighter with each and every free up. Terrorizer - I understand they have got most effective positioned out two albums so far, however I REALLY dug the moment album's transfer to demise/grind from the prior grindcore sound (which used to be additionally cool). Worse: Slayer - Im no longer gonna say "worse", however what I imply is they havent lived as much as their prior releases, particularly Divine Intervention, Reign in Blood, and Season in The Abyss. Dimmu Borgir - Same factor. I nonetheless dig their new releases, however no longer up to a few older stuff. The Red Chord - Same factor. Still a baddass band, however nonetheless havent crowned their debut "Fused Together In Revolving Doors" list. BQ: No, Pantera has no longer allow me down. And they certainly not can.
