How do we all feel now that amnesty is dead?

Bush wanted to do give amnesty he was blocked 3 times. As far as I know Obama would like to look at immigration reform. But hecouldnt get health reform through and a lot of Americans and the dems wanted it as well.

Most dems and almost all reps are against any sort of path to citizenship so it is very clearly now a dead issue.

So when will the legislation pass that charges would be brought against landlords and schools that allow illegals. Isint the house dabate next week.

Thanks

Amnesty is dead - at least for now. First of all, Obama has no interest in this topic because 25 years ago, some 87% of all US households paid income tax. That has now dropped to 60% due in large part all the illegal folks here who are on government entitlements. Obama would love to raise taxes but before long 50% of the country would be supporting the 50% who aren't working or paying anything. This is unsustainable.

Secondly, it simply is not fair to all those people who came to this country and became citizens under the law. There are laws and they cannot simply be bypassed for the sake on convenience. France has or had an open borders policy. They are in serious financial trouble currently because the entitlements went way up and the tax base went way down.

actually, i think it is totally stupid to even address it as long because of the fact the borders are nevertheless as open as they're. in spite of each little thing, you are able to turn the water off earlier fixing a leak, appropriate? How else could desire to you manage it. additionally, I actually have a undertaking with human beings costing me, the taxpayer an excellent form of money for components and advantages and not even being documented so as that they are able to pay taxes themselves. I virtually have confidence that usa of america is a land of opprotunity for everyone who needs to be here. i quite do. and that i've got not got a undertaking with that. yet, even nevertheless sluggish the gadget is, there's a gadget for it. Come every person, yet please do it legally and documented. in any different case we've not any concept who shall we be bringing into the rustic (ie: Terrorists, greater drug sellers and criminal, like we don't have enougn of our very own etc). additionally, i've got observed a extensive distinction between the immigrants of immediately and those of the day earlier immediately. Years in the past, while my grandparents got here here, they respected the guidelines and made an truthful attempt to combine themselves into the rustic. And no, they did no longer could desire to renounce their lifestyle to realize this. yet in addition they did no longer assume this lifestyle to cater to them. they actually had to be here, no longer purely for a job or advantages yet to be a factor f something they felt replaced into stable interior the international. lots has replaced in view that then.

We do not need any new legislation on illegal immigration. Our laws are not part of a broken immigration system. Amnesty will be dead when our elected officials decide to enforce the existing laws governing immigration.

A bit better. We must stop encouraging the hordes of overpopulating cultures coming here. We no longer have the open land and undeveloped resources to absorb them. They just undercut wages, cause depressions, and force wars. That's what inspired the Indian Wars, our Civil War, both world wars, Korea, Viet Nam, Rwanda, and the ones now.

It's a GREAT feeling, but HR 4321 is still in the works- it is the granddaddy of all amnesty programs.

We must call our Congressmen and stop this.

It should be dead, I honestly think that they know if they even bring it up, they will start something that the government is not prepared to handle.

  • Great, now we need to make life for all illegals a living hell regardless of where they are from. Make it so bad they either live in sewers or run home where they belong.
