Does this clip from the Rush Limbaugh show make you think Limbaugh's father was a bad father?

I have no idea as to how you jumped to this conclusion, from this clip, other then the fact that you have all ready predetermined that you are not, will not and can not look at things objectively. Like it or not, In a Fathers love, Fathers create a sense of strength in their off spring sometimes by just being present in their lives and doing what is right for the family. This strength does not come form berating their of spring but by holding their offspring to being responsible in all they take on in all they do, whether they are boys or they are girls. This society has taken the need of having a strong male figure in your life and turned it into some kind of abusive situation. It's no wonder we have so many men turning away from their responsibilities and young women turning to bad boys for some desire to have a strong male figure in their life.

A good father's job is to correct his child when that child is wrong. Rush didn't do anything in this clip but tell Obama he behaved badly, which he did. He told him what he has done wrong and told him to fix it. This is what any good father would tell a son who had made a mess of something.

Maybe the problem is that too many kids are growing up with fathers who don't love or care enough about them to correct them when they are wrong. The kids then grow up to be spoiled adults.

Hadn't heard that yet, but hey how true it was. I realize that you are probable still swooning over Obama's State of the Union, but for shiits and grins, name anything in your youtube link that is not the truth. I notice you have taken the typical liberal high road, won't address what the man said and attack him, was most if not all of what he said true? Yes it is, was it drivel drooling over anything Obama? No and you can't stand it and you can not dispute it, so you'll resort to name calling.

I guess at least Rush's Dad didn't abandon him,leaving him with a mother so incapable of running her own life she had to leave him with his Grandparents to raise.

Why does that scenario sound so familiar?

What is really hilarious,is that as far as I listened to it,not one thing he said about Barack was wrong.Including whether he has mental issue,which I have asked my wife about,since she is a psychologist.I think she agress with Rush,Barack has issues.

I do not think Rush Limbaugh's family or relatives are fair game to harass, belittle, stalk or pry on simply because you don't like Rush Limbaugh. He is his own person. Stop acting like a depraved stalker.

That's the problem with today's youths, they can't take criticism! He was merely speaking the truth, should people not be told when they're fu@king up...

Youtube is not a source by any means. A father figure to someone doesn't make them a good one, it's jsut the one you are stuck with. Hopefully it will be a good one.

Mine sure did, and it did nothing but help me, to realize and understand

just what path I was on was the wrong one. And turned me around headed

in the right direction.

I wish my father would have taught me how to make millions.

More fathers should talk to their sons that way.
