Do you know of a good stretch mark cream?

I just found out that I am 6weeks pregnant. I want to start applying some stretch mark cream as soon as possible so that i can keep them under control or to a minimum. Can you please help me find a cream that would work well. Thanks A Bunch

With my first son I used Palmers Coco Butter and Palmers body Oil throughout the time of my finished being pregnant. I didnt wait till i began to expose. once i got here across out i became prego I used that stuff on a daily basis, and were given very few mild stretch marks on my abdomen. some my acquaintances which have were given highly undesirable darkish stretch marks have offered Strivectin when they'd the toddler and that really worked wonders on them. Now with my second, i'm using an same issues plus Palmers tummy butter and so a options so good. :) good success

First you need to understand that it's our genes that determine the elasticity in our skin. Some have good genes, others don't. That said, don't waste your money on stretch mark cream, use pure vitamin E oil instead. You can find it at any grocery or drug store and it's cheap. You only need to rub it on your belly and hips once a day and it'll keep your skin soft and supple. As you get bigger you might want to rub it on twice a day but stretch marks are a badge of honor...it's the droopy **** that you really have to worry about. They look great during pregnancy but after the milks gone...make sure you have a really good support bra or they'll hang to your knees LOL.

Stretch marks are genetic so no matter what if your prone to them you will get them.. Cream just helps keep it moisturized.. I used Bio Oil, Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter and still got stretch marks and I used them every day.. If your body is prone to them you will get them.. There is nothing that you really can do.

It's just important to keep your skin moisturised, stretch marks are caused by the skin underneath growing faster than the skin on top, so keeping it moisturised, and therefore elasticy prevents stretch marks. Cocoa butter, the butter not the cream is good, I've used it thoughout my pregnancy.

Everyone swears by coco butter, and I like it too but I got some Bio Oil and I've heard GREAT things about it. It isn't very greasy like baby oil and I personally think it smells awesome! Look up the website and you will see lots of testimonials from women who have used it during pregnancy. Good luck and congrats!

Cocoa Butter lotion helps. But, I'm sorry to say that nothing prevents stretch marks...unfortunately. With my first son, I didn't use anything...and just got a few on my thighs...which is weird because to this day, everybody makes fun of my skinny legs. But, with my second son, I used lotions, and have a bunch on my stomach now.

Plain old vitamin E cream that you can find at any store(walmart, Target Walgreen's) and it is not scented really. pretty much will work great. Palmer's Coco butter cream is good, but you have to like the smell of it to really use it enough to make it work.
