What would you do if you were me?

Hey! To begin with I scored my first ever ace today!! 158 yard par 3. Hit a 22 degree hybrid, hit the green bounced once right into the hole!! 57 years old, have golfed for 40 years and this was my first ace. After the round I bought lunch for my playing partners. One of them said I should buy a round for the clubhouse. I looked around and there were only two people in there that I knew. I bought each of them a beer and felt that I had done enough.

Agree or disagree.

DAMN you Damn you damn you!!!!!! hahaha, I am still waiting for my first ace!

    NIce shot!!!!

I would ahve done what you did. You don't need to buy for complete strangers, this is really only for those that win the $$$$ in tournaments with hole in one prize. Not on a regular day with friends.

I hope you kept the ball?

A friend of mine dropped his shot straight into the hole and broke the cup, the course let him keep the cup as well! (smile)

Nice! Congrats! I would've been jumping up and down, screaming my head off. Personally, I think that's the only time where you can make that much noise on a golf course, and rightly so. If the tradition is to buy a round of drinks, then I'll buy a round of drinks. I think that's the same karma as tipping the poker dealer for the (possibly) winning hand.

A co-worker of mine aced a very short par 4 last summer and he ended up getting a plaque from Calloway. I can't remember if he used a Calloway ball or club, but all he had to do was call them up just to see what he can get.

Congrats! I guess that's why some companies offer Hole-In-One insurance, but I'm with you on that one. Maybe I'd buy a soda or a beer for everyone (I don't drink), besides- who's to say how many would take advantage of you and order double-shot 4 Horsemen? That could add up REAL quick!

God has continuously been a verify to which persons (inclusive of myself) have continuously appeared to in cases of conflict. If there is not any god then that could want to leave many, nicely, hopeless... i in my opinion sense like if there wasn't a god, then i'd both spend my existence on drugs or per chance merely kill myself to verify. for sure this can seem insane to you yet determining that there wasn't a god might want to be like having what receives me by existence ripped far flung from me. And without god there might want to be no afterlife that can propose that in the time of my not ordinary cases i does not have a objective that i'd undergo in options i'm operating in the route of. There might want to be no purpose to existence particularly...

I don't that it's a written rule, but at my club the other players in the foursome would give the pserosn making the hole in one $5.00. Congratulations on your hole in one. Still waiting on mine.

I hit a hole in one 3 weeks ago. I didn't buy anybody anything. I guess I'm an SOB.

You were absolutely right, nothing to be ashamed of. BTW congrats on your hole in one, i'm still waiting for my first one.

I would shrug it off. Just another great day on the course.
