what is the most pathetic excuse you have heard lately?

Excuses for gaining weight or not losing weight.

Overheard in the locker room: a woman was complaining about being heavier on the scales over the weekend, but said the scales reading was like that due to the gravitational pull of the recent full moon. Or something along those lines. I don't know how she eats but she's one of those women who does very low intensity "workouts."

So, can anyone top the gravitational pull of the moon as an excuse?

    A morbidly obese woman, who was so overweight no gym would accept her because she was an insurance liability, wouldn't walk more than one lap of a small park because she said her pet dog's little heart wasn't able for it...she said it would kill him.

    Yeah, the dog's health is the problem....

    Gravitational pull of the moon? That's rich.

    I don't know why females get so obsessed over weight, it's just a number. The ultimate goal should be fat loss, not weight loss. I'd rather look good and feel healthy at 200, then look sickly and feel run down at 170.

    Whenever i gain weight I call myself out on it.

    How Cute! I've never heard of THAT Excuse! No there is no way I can top that!

    But here are the top 7 Excuses...

    I don’t have time.

    It’s too late, I’m already 25, 35, 45, 55, etc. years old.

    I’m afraid of failure.

    It’s too hard to lose weight, I’ve already tried.

    I’m afraid of success!

    My (husband, wife, kid(s) significant other, etc.) doesn’t care, why should I? (hey, this is one of the worst excuses and I didn’t write about it this week but it’s really important that you care for you for you instead of for someone else. )

    I can’t exercise, there’s no place for me to walk and sometimes it hurts when I walk.

    Lol. I don't understand why people can't take responsibility for gaining weight. I usually hear the typical excuses..they have to work, they are tired, they don't feel well, etc..

    I understand people have to work but I see people every single day at 4 in the morning at the gym who work out, shower, and head to work after. So I don't see that as a good excuse. Excuses are what is separating people from fitness. That and pure laziness.
