Is there a magazine for the Remington 770 that holds more than 4 rounds?
I recently bought a Remington 770 in 308 caliber and and quite happy with it. However, the magazine is only able to hold 4 rounds. I ordered another mag. but would like one with a larger capability. Does any one know if they exist?
Thanks.

This is a simple answer.
No, and it is not likely that there will ever be.

I doubt you can find magazines that will hold more than the 4 rounds (possibly 5 in 223) because of most state hunting laws,a small market and since the common magazine is so cheap to get anyway. Only real use of the extended magazine would be for practice/bench work and it wouldn't benefit you that much anyway-if you need more than 5 shots on an animal I'm thinking you need to re-access your shooting skills. Glad the 770 is working for you,not a favorite rifle of mine.

why? it's not a rapid fire tactical assault video game weapon... and if your shooting 308 "at the range" that fast you are not learning a thing about the rifle or how you perform with it.
4 rounds is plenty for that class of firearm... want more? Buy an appropriate rifle made for rapid fire work.
