Belly button peircings HELP?!?

Pain is different for everyone, but its usually never more than a sharp pinch and only lasts a few seconds.

I'd wait until the swim team's season is over to get a piercing. The chlorine and chemicals in the pool will irritate the wound and prevent healing, and the pool harbors a ton of bacteria, too. You should avoid swimming until your piercing is at least three months old (although waiting the entire healing time is better.. 6 months to one year).

Okay so it basically depends your pain tolerant and where you go. Ive had mine 3 times but dont let that worry you..all got ruined from drunk experiences. :) as for the piercing it wasnt THAT bad. The first place i got it used a clamp which hurts more than the needle so it takes your mind off the needle and then before you know, its over! The second place didnt use a clamp and just told me to breath in and they stuck it through. Both didnt hurt THAT but but just a sting. Id say 5 or 6 but really we're alll the same. and according to piercing places, belly button hurts more than tounge!!!! so tounge must not hurt!

i got mine 4 years ago & trust me it doesn't hurt & no you wont be able to swim i think you have to wait 6 months? i don't i could be wrong its been a long time

well its probably not a good idea if you dont like your belly button being touched...(oops! ~.~) lol i did and it felt really weird honestly if your not the one to get peirings on places that noone will see unless you having sex dont do it
