How do I become a "corpse man" in the Navy?

I would think it's an easy job, how many corpses could the Navy have to deal with under normal circumstances?

Update:

I'm not talking about a Corpsman, I'm talking about a "corpse man" as referred to by the President in the attached vido link. I haven heard much about that job before.

Well apparently "YO" nobody else is catching on to the speech by "The One". Hilarious, if it wasn't so irritating.

Good catch. When you know nothing about the military, and don't try to learn anything; when you have to hire someone to teach you how to salute, it's easy to just read off the teleprompter and pronounce whatever you think it may sound like. Is the Marine Corpse next?

To be a "Corpse Man" you would have to actually die, then you would be a Corpse, man.

I didn't watch the video, only looked at the title "Obama Misreads"

To be a Corpman or Hospital Corpsman. Talk to a lying recruiter that will tell you what you want to hear, then the Job detailer at MEPS will try to stick you in whatever rate you qualify for to meet the needs of the US Navy. They'll find a crack in the system and sweep you towards it.

Hospital Corpsman is a very popular rate and there is usually a waiting list. You have to score high on your test and pass Meps. If you really want to be in this field make sure this is written in your contract. Once your finish your schooling you could be sent anywhere including combat zones.

You need a certain level of intelligence to be a Navy Corpsman.

"Corpse man"? Die I suppose. I'm fairly certain it's not a specialty they'll train you for.
