Rush, because he's smarter. Would you really want to hear and see Keith Olberman more than we have to now?

Keith Olbermann actually researches and factchecks everything he broadcasts, and bases his editorials, rhetorical in delivery though they mught be, on rigorously studied data. he also provides a source for almost all of his claims, usually providing a direct quote alongside source and date. Which is what a good journalist should do. Rush Limbaugh invents a worrying degree of the content of his broadcasts, and rarely takes the effort to check them for accuracy. He also refuses to issue corrections and clarifications when he is caught out, which Olbermann does ont the rare occassions when he is in error, about ten times a year, the average for a daily current affairs commentator in Europe, for comparison's sake.

Journalistic integrity may not be immediately transferabelt o any other profession, but it would be comforting to think that anyone in a position of power, such as US Secretary of State, is used to making sure that they can back up what they say with facts, they are more likely to make correct decisions than those whose purpose in life in propaganda rather than reportage.

So Olbermann, not that I think he'd do a particualrly good job, but the prospect of a deluded moron like Rush Limbaugh being any more influential than he already is.

    Neither:

They're both just entertainers and not qualified.
