Need help with math!!!!!!?

Its been a while and i have forgotten how to find out if a triangle is a right one by using the converse of the Pythagorean theorem (a squared+b squared=c squared).

An example: a=24 b=10 c=26

    Hello!

    Recall the Pythagorean Theorem:

    a^2 + b^2 = c^2

    a = 24, b = 10, c = 26

    Substitute:

    ==> 24^2 + 10^2 = 26^2

    ==> 576 + 100 = 676

    ==> 676 = 676

    Since 676 = 676, it is a right triangle.

    Hope this helps!

    Sincerely,

    Mr.Math

  • you need to devide the opposite.

    A=24

    B=10

    C=26

    now divide 24 with 10, then subtract 26, member to show you work
