How to clean quilts to big for the washer?

I have several quilts that need to cleaned , but they are to big for my washer. Does anyone have a way to clean them?

    Take them to a laundry mat that has those large front loading machines.=)

    I would not recommend washing those quilts if they are old or are fragile in any way. you can end up doing damage to them that may be hard (and expesive) to repair. I would suggest buying the dry cleaning sheets that go into your dryer and steam dryclean the quilts one at a time. Be sure to spot clean any stains before doing so.

    i exploit Biz as a laundry booster. i exploit in wash lots with darkish outfits, and soak white/trouble-free outfits in it; with water in a bucket in one day. Biz is colour secure, and has kept maximum of my youngster's' outfits. I have very particular quilts that are used usually, yet there comes a time even as they prefer to be retired.

    i know some people who just steam them with their steamer, but i just take mine to a laundrette and it's Only a couple of pounds
