Why do global warming deniers claim the earth is cooling, when it isn't?

LOL. There isn't one argument by the global warming deniers that can't be dis-proven by a simple search on google. It's amazing how ignorant one can be in the information age.

They think its global cooling that is melting 70,000 square kilometers of glaciers per year. Not too bright.

Global warming is happening. It's just not this man made catastrophy that Al Gore and the government are making it out to be. It's a normal cycle the earth goes through. Remember a little point in history called the Ice Age? Well at some point after that there must have been global warming, because the world isn't covered in ice anymore.

We don't claim the earth is cooling.
However, the supporters of GW today also believed there was going to be a global cooling in the 70's and then they said our ozone layer was burning away...oh my! Now, since the rest didn't work, they are doctoring a limited 100 years of data and telling us that there is this global warming thing going on.
What I can't understand is how the supporters of GW say that because of GW the earth is experiencing these harsh winters. I also cant figure out why the Eastern Arctic Glacial shelf, which makes up 73% of the worlds ice, has grown 10,000km in mass since the 1960's. Shouldn't it be the other way around????
Your question, to say the least, is flawed. As is your perception of us who don't believe in the farce that is Global Warming.

Real Scientists are now saying that we are in a Global Cooling Period.
And that Global Warming was all a HOAX.
You should know that.
Google says the Earth is Cooling.
Get off you knees and stop Bowing to Al Gore.
HE DON'T OWN YOU.

You still haven't done a "simple search on google" to educate yourself on the SCIENTISTS who can falsify global warming, have you?
LOL all you want. You as ignorant as your claiming others if you have purposely ignored those who can provide proof that global warming false.
Here, NASA admitted they had errors in their data and the hottest year so far was 1934, not 1998...and other figures have changed as well. Four of the hottest days were in the 1930s, while only 3 of the hottest years in the past decade.

There isn't one argument by global warming supporters that cant be dis-proven by a simple search on google. Pretty much a religion wouldn't you say? Data that is intentionally left out to support your theory does not make good science.

That a boy. Reject reality and substitute your own. Besides all the ice ages the Earth has encountered through out history must be stopped. It may have led to the extinction of the Mammoth. Darned ICE AGES.

As the article said, it's how you look at the numbers.
The hottest year on record was 1998. It's been cooler than that every year since.
Frankly, I think it would be more accurate to say the warming has stopped.

Was it hotter in 1998 than it is now ?
Isn't that what climate scientist say, that 1998 was the hottest year on record .
So if it is not as hot as 1998, wouldn't that mean the earth has cooled sine then ?

Well, if you swallow Algore's lies and think that mankind is to blame (although we have had cyclical changes long before the industrial age) maybe you should actually support your cause and stop driving. Trade your car in for a horse or a mule

No one knows much about global warming. We only think we might know how it works.
