When do you think life begins?

Conception

life have many stages ,started before you are even conceived but i am not going to go that far.

Conception of human starts at conception . God inter spirit of life in baby when baby starts to move.... so and then all other stages in human development till death and then another stage

Conception. I see no other logical point at which life can begin. That doesn't mean that I am in favor of completely banning abortion. It's an extremely complicated issue -- much more complex than either side of the debate wants us to believe.

Even prior to conception, two living human organisms exist to unite and become one. Why are the sperm and the ovulated egg always disregarded in the discussion of *life* ? - Without either of those two (preexisting) life forms, conception cannot even happen. Life, is perpetual.

I don't believe it's at conception.

I think there's a responsibility for a parent to be a parent when a child can survive outside the womb and not try to abort after that point. Of course, that point comes at different times with different fetus...fetuses? ...fetusi? ...fetii?

At any rate, I guess I'm not against abortion in the first trimester.

When the human soul chooses to enter into the body of the infant. This can happen prior to birth or shortly thereafter.

I would say total consciousness takes place somewhere during the toddler stage. Life that can survive on its own starts at around 24 weeks. Prior, to toddler stage you, for the most part, act on primitive impulses.

Before the child is born the bible does not consider it to be a living person with any sort of rights.
