I recently bought a Hi Def TV, HDMI cable, and a Blu Ray player touting DVD up-conversion. The box says "1080P Up-Scaling: View Standard DVDs in Near HD"

The Blu Rays look great, but the DVDs look...terrible. Everything is blurry, grainy, and just it looks horrible, almost unwatchable. Am I missing something? Are there any common settings that I can look out for? Or do up-converted DVDs just look bad?

Sums up what ticks me off about Christians pretty well I think.

Movies such as Panic Room. I really like these kinds of movies and I want to watch some. :B

Note: I don't mean movies where the "Home Invasion" is like, 30 seconds at the beginning of the movie. I want some where the invasion is pretty much the entire movie.

Boredom? Did he just want to create life to see it suffer? Did he just like the power trip? Or was it vanity, and he just wanted to create sheeple to worship him?

I hate it when people say "Life is to complicated for evolution to be true" and when people think that evolution is an explanation for how life began. :/

In my opinion, I would have to say the Dark Night, I really don't see the attraction of that movie.

They really seem to be eager to dismiss theories as random, incorrect guesses, instead of actually learning what a Scientific Theory actually is, a collection of FACTS, EVIDENCE, and OBSERVATIONS to explain a natural phenomenon.

I keep hearing people talk about them, but nobody is actually saying what they are.

Because really, the human body is flawed in so many ways, it seems that God would have to hate us to make us so.
