Fellow Evolutionists: What misconception that people have about about evolution annoys you the most?

That "evolutionist" is a word.

Sorry, I had to do that. :)

But on a serious note, when people claim evolution is random or accidental. Nothing is random.

I like that you've posted this in the Religion and Spirituality section. Those who believe in evolution are truly people of great faith! Many of us just don't have enough faith to believe in evolution. Faith can be a wonderful thing and can help you establish a world-view that can keep you going day to day. And helps you answer those deep questions that have so long troubled thinking man:

1) Where did I come from?

2) What is my purpose for being here?

3) How should I live my life?

4) What happens to me after I die?

If your faith in evolution helps you with these, that's good. No. 3 would trouble me greatly if I believed in evolution, but it doesn't bother some people at all.

When an observation or experiment is pointed out, I've seen some accept that it is evolution (micro), but then continue to dismiss it.

You know? The old, "That's just micro-evolution, show me a squid turning into a donkey!"

The thing I hate most is when people deny it. Evolution is not a guess. Evolution is a fact. Denying evolution is the same as denying gravity.

A lot of people claim Charles Darwin was an atheist, some even believe he was the founder of atheism.

In fact Darwin was a Christian for most of his life, and although he became agnostic in later years, this had nothing to do with his scientific studies. His faith was shaken by the death of his eldest daughter, to whom he was much attached.

I find it amusing when people say, "Evolution is a demonic lie from Satan!"

But the question I HATE the most is, "Why are there still monkeys if evolution is true??"

Whenever somebody uses the word "accident" when discussing evolution or cosmology or any natural process. That and the "just a theory" argument.

Good lord, I could write a book. But it's the ones with the room-temperature IQ's who write things like:

"Athiist - why dus siance say the Big Bang made my muthur evolv from a munkey?

Haha Athiist UR dum."

It's truly annoying when one think evolution occurs in a single individual by it's "will",

Exemple : Guy on youtube : I want to fly, why don't I evolve wings? See! Evilution is false HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!111
