Kevin...Have you seen a "Bumble Bee"? Aeronautical Engineers say it's design is flawed and it should not be capable of flying...Yet it does.

Have observed the Chameleon how it walks on branches? None of these 'things' go by any book measurements. That does not mean numbers do not play a role in life; if you have 20 beats of your heart per minute...you probably die.

What I am trying to say is that if YOU feel comfortable with that body fat percentage, you are Ok. You do not need a guy with letters after his name to tell you otherwise, unless you feel it as such. Today, lots of people follow these gurus and die, and the Engineer that Created Man says "my people are dying for lack of knowledge" on what to eat, how to live, what to do in life.

You are the Master of your own destiny: you want to have LESS fat, go ahead, but remember the brain IS fat, and it needs lecithin to operate, which a kind of fat too. The brain cells are isolated one from the other in a sheath of 'fat', otherwise all connections would be "short circuited".

    Hope this was helpful.

No, 15% body fat is optimal for males. It also seems low for the weight indicating a good amount of lean mass.

If you were only 130lb with 15% body fat or 180lb with 25% body fat that would be bad.

14 to17 percent is normal for a non-athlete. So, no.

I WOULDNT CONSIDER 15 PERCENT BF TOO HIGH. ITS SOUNDS LIKE ALOT BECAUSE ITS NOT IN HIGH CORRELATION TO YOUR HEIGHT AND WEIGHT BECAUSE YOU PROBABLY DONT HAVE MUCH MUSCLE MASS.

Source(s): TO THE PERSON BELOW ME, THANK YOU FOR THE MORAL SUPPORT. IT WAS VERY HEARTFELT... THE FACT OF THE MATTER WAS A QUESTION OF BODY FAT WAS ASKED AND I ANSWERED IT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. I AM BY NO MEANS TELLING ANYONE WHAT TO DO OR HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THEMSELVES... YOU SHOULD TRY ANSWERING PEOPLE'S QUESTIONS INSTEAD OF QUESTIONING PEOPLE'S ANSWERS. :)
