What can swollen feet be a sign of in a normal healthy male?
My fiance is a fairly healthy man who is somewhat inactive. He has always had minor foot problems, bone spurs, calouses, dry skin, but recently he has gotten extremely swollen feet! There has been no diet changes or anything and he has had his spleen removed a few years ago due to injury. Can anyone offer any idea as to what may be the problem? He refuses to see a doctor and insurance plays a role in that decision.

That sounds like edema, which can be the symptom of a larger problem.

It really sounds like edema which can be linked to really serious health problems such as heart failure. He really needs to go to a doctor asap.
