why would you spend trillions on climate taxes to save people on an island?

people like to pretend like they care about something and want to look good, that's the only real reason why. i don't think even half of the major donaters could really give a **** about it all. and yes, it is a bad idea. they are rebuilding so it can fall down again in a worse earthquake. people need to realize there are simply places that you shouldn't build.

Good Question but I don't think being born in an area that is affected by Climate change is exactly 'stupid'. Nor do I believe that climate change can ber reversed by man's actions.

However Governments will make use of Climate Change Tax as a convenient means of increasing Tax Revenue. I do not believe any amount of cash that will stop climate change any more than King Canute could stop the tide coming in. I do however believe that we should do everything reasonably possible to stop poisoning our environment.

It is not just the people on the island to be saved, it is you as well. When climate change takes your food or water supply shall the world move to save you?

An AGW politician would vote to spend that money so he can intercept that money somewhere in the process with fraudulent documents and let the islands drown anyway.
