Graphic Card power supply requirement?

Graphic card requirement is 300w. My standard power supply is 280. What are the Cons and pros of using the standard power supply with the card?

Thanks =)

    I'd definitely upgrade your power supply. All sorts of weird stuff can start happening to your PC. It gets ugly. Reboots too, and just whenever the PC feels like it. Not good.

    Well...the cons...

    While using your graphics card for what it was designed for (3D Graphics) you may experience nice little BSoD due to instability caused by deficient power.

    The Pros...if you aren't using the graphics card to its fullest capacity it may work.
