How many ear piercings can you get done at once?

I got my second holes done a year or two ago and they've closed up now, and I finally decided I wanna get them repierced so I'm going to do that, but I want to get a third set of holes also.

Can you do this at the same time?

Or will I have to get my second holes one day, and the third the next?

(I might get it done at Claire's, if that makes a difference.)

Thanks.

Update:

vctbo - why should I avoid piercing guns? that's how my ears were pierced both times before (of course the second ones were crap >.>)

But yeah, why is this?

Update 2:

Claires is not the best place to go, avoid any place that uses a piercing gun. Go to a tattoo or a piercing shop. More than 3 piercings in 1 day increases your chance of infection and is harder for your body to heal.

*UPDATE* Reason to avoid piercing guns: 1.They are impossible to properly sterilize, which greatly increases the risk of infection. 2. The gun tears a hole in your ear with cheap jewelry, while a peircing needle is hollow tiped and cuts a small holewhich is followed by the jewelry. 3. peircing guns make crooked holes!

you can get as many as you can handle.

i had 7 piercings done at once before and the piercer was pretty impressed lol. but one of my mates could only just handle getting one piercing in a day. it depends on your pain threshhold i think.

    XOXO.

EDIT: people say you should avoid piercing guns because they are very difficult to clean and can be seen as unsanitary. it is a lot better to get pierced by a professional with a needle, but i had my first 2 sets of lobe piercings with a gun and they turned out ok (they are a bit uneven though). i would recommend going to a tattoo/piercing studio if its possible to get it done with a needle. however, if its easier then get it done with a gun, nothing majorly bad will happen. but NEVER get anything other than your lobes pierced with a gun. if you got cartilage pierced that way, then the blunt force of the gun could shatter your cartilage.

    XOXO.
