they say its always best to incorporate in Nevada. you can set up a llc in Nevada from anywhere in the world, and experience even more tax advantages, in some cases, not having to pay taxes at all. I learned this from my LLC advisor.
anyway, you can get instant info about LLCs. A LLC and a Business License are separate applications.

call your city's business office - it probably has nothing to do with being an LLC - and why do you need to be an LLC? - lots of extra costs vs sole proprietor - annual fees, tax returns, required meetings and minutes - lots of red tape hassle
