Formatting Word Document into Columns?
Can somebody help me format a document. The very first paragraph I wanted it to go straight across the page and then the remaining paragraphs, I wanted columns. Everytime I try to put a certain part in columns, it says it has to apply to the whole document. Is there another way to avoid this? Thanks in advance!

You should be able to do the apply to "this section" or "this point forward" under the column command in format. Or could you make a table with two columns and one row?

If you're using Word 2003/2007 there's a specific columns button. Please be a bit more specific.
