Do you think we are in the end times, the end of days approaching the great tribulation?

Yes, I believe we are living in the final days of this system of things.

The disciples asked Jesus ... what will be the sign of your presence and the conclusion of the system of things.

Jesus answered ... in part ...

"You are going to hear of wars ...

"Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom,

and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another.

All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress.

And because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off.

And the good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations;

and then the end will come."

Do you see all these things happening on a global scale for the first time in history?

What does that tell each of us?

Yes, we are living in the final days of this system of things.

The Bible describes events and conditions that mark this significant time period. “The sign” is a composite one made up of many evidences; more significant when all these signs happen at the same time all around the earth, thus its fulfilment requires that all aspects of the sign be clearly in evidence during one generation. The various aspects of the sign are recorded at Matthew chapters 24, 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21; there are further details at ,2 Timothy 3:1-5 2 Peter 3:3, 4, and Revelation 6:1-8.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 says "But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away."

Matthew 24:3-12 tells us While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: “Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” And in answer Jesus said to them: “Look out that nobody misleads YOU; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many.YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. Yes we are living in the last days

Yes! We are so close to the end of this wicked world and the wonderful 1000 year reign of Christ when Rev. 21:1-4 will be fulfilled.

(Revelation 21:1-4) "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. 2 I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

(Revelation 20:4) " And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years."

Yes as The Bible says:-

Rev 11:18

And the nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to be judged, and the time of reward for your servants, the prophets, and for the saints, and for those in whom is the fear of your name, small and great,

Greedy humans have made the earth and unclean place to live so according to the above God will act soon!

When I was a young teen, my church had me believing that "the end times are here". That was over 35 years ago. Our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, great-great-great-great.... all thought the same thing. Two thousand years ago, the apostles were told their own generation would not pass before all those prophecies were fulfilled. Well, there have been 2000 years worth of generations since then.

The bible also says that no one knows when it will be, so why do Christians try so hard to pinpoint the time? Isn't that kind of against what Jesus said?

The "world" ends every day for many people. We will be no more or less dead if we all die together than if we all die alone. Quit fixating on the "end" and live the life you have in the time that you have. Help others, do the good that you can.

The book of Revelation is given in signs & symbols:

"A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent forth his angel and presented [it] in signs through him to his slave John." --Revelation 1:1,2

The Israelites that it mentions are symbolic of *true* followers of Jesus Christ,

whom the actual Israelites had impaled. Even before that they had repeatedly gone after pagan gods, even making burnt offerings of their own children to their idols. God divorced the nation of Israel long ago. . .

This tells us that the antichrist is actually a composit, and some of it's 'members' were even in existence even in the apostle's da, before all the Bible books had been penned . . .

i have answered this question repeatedly

its not a bad question, there are many who think these are the last minutes and a few say these are the last seconds.

but my understanding of some of the scriptures say the world itself will never end. it will be changed like into a sea glass, or (crystal).

and if you are asking about the end of man, mankind will only end with the beginning of the Millenium.

even then, mankind will not end. but men will become resurrected incorruptible.

the verse in the bible says that Jesus was born in the meridian of time. one might think this means in the middle of the whole timeline.

if Jesus was born in the years around 3000, then there would reasonably be 3000 years afterward.

right now the year is 2770, if i remember correctly.

this alone could equate that we have at least 230 years.

everyone must realize that we will not live for 200 years. which means the end of our lives comes quickly. so, now is the time to prepare and repent. not worrying about the end of civilization.

end times are behind us. The 'last days' of the old covenant world with its temple rituals and sacrifices. The Bible uses cosmic catastrophe language to describe a covenantal change. It's called 'apocalyptic' writing, and Isaiah, Ezekiel, Joel used it to describe nations coming under the judgment of God. It has happened many times, but the earth remains. We are today living in the new covenant (new heavens and earth) which has no end!

Nero was the beast of Revelation, who persecuted the early Christians. (Neron Cesar). His name added up to 666, as the early alphabet also had numerical value. We don't add up letters in names today to get a number.

Don't believe me, believe what the Bible says! 2nd coming was imminent to the original hearers and readers of new testament letters. Under divine inspiration, it is written He would not tarry! (Heb 10:37) And John wrote He was a partner with them during the tribulation. (Rev. 1:9) Do you think the tribulation has been going on 2000 years?
