where to get human fat?

Any human fat will be considered bio hazard waste and will not be able to legally be given to you. If you can find some shady underground surgery center to give it to you then good luck (and then turn them in because they shouldn't be performing surgery!)

I used to work in biodiesel and we had an ongoing joke about making a fortune out of charging people twice: once for liposuction, then again for the fuel we made from their fat.

Would your art project be nullified by animal fat? I'm sure you could get that in bulk for free at a butcher shop.

Since this is an ART project, why don't you just go to the butcher and ask for fresh pig fat. Pig's are extremely molecularly similar to human beings........kinda funny, but true.

I am guessing you have to ask a liposuction patient to give the doctors/surgeon consent to give you their disposed body fat.
