Because true faith never waivers, doubts or fears. That would be like standing on quicksand and hoping to remain on firm ground! Faith is absolute certainty in the power of God and in the truth of His Word.

    Hebrews 11:1-3

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

BECause the Holy Spirit wanted us to know that in order to believe the whole word of God one has to have Faith in God.

God formed the world with this same Faith that He gave to each one of us. If we can just grasp what He told us through His word we we can do greater works then Jesus did, just by putting these basics into practice.

Some learn it and do it and it makes the ones who cannot get it mad.

But as God is no respecter of persons once you learn it then you are to teach it to others.

The trouble with this generation they want to SEE everything before they have it, to make sure it is there.

Walking by Faith is how it is done. Keep on trying because just like when you could not ride a two wheeler and you had to find your balance then you can find that you do have Faith.

God bless you as you try and keep on trying.

God wants you to operate in His gifts.

He did not hide it from you, but wants you to reach up higher. Come on you can do it too!

Hbr 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Because that is the definition of faith. It tells us that faith is something we can be assured of no matter what things look like.

Mar 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

You may see a mountain in your way but if you have faith it don't matter what you see, the mountain will be moved.

Faith is the ability to believe what is not true; its enduring popularity is because it lets people believe what they want to believe in (rather than what there is evidence for).

The quotation is fairly accurate. 'Being sure of what we hope for' (believing what we want to, instead of what is true); 'certain of what we do not see' (believing things which are not true).

Faith is for people who cannot deal with reality, or do not want to (in practice these are about the same).
