Pick the career field that interest you provided you test well enough to be eligible. Then from there, pick the service which has that career field. And if they both have it, then examine the different aspects of daily life, deployment, training etc. Join said branch and get the career field on a guaranteed contract if that's important to you.

I was in the Army 10 years active duty. But if I had to do it over again, I would go Air Force. The Air Force is well behind the battle zone and is very well protected real estate. The Army is right on top of the battle. You have a good chance of injury in the Army.

Army all the way! Army has a great spand of jobs and easily find something you would like.
BUT
I would say that if your concerned on war no matter what branch you are you will deploy no matter what. Every job is dangerous and to think about this alittle bit more and not let a questionaire on here decide for you.
Do you see your self as an airmen or a soldier?

What do you want your military career to be.
Air Force
or
Army It's not that hard.
AND STOP SAYING AIR FORCE IS ALL FLYING ITS NOT.
What the hell. It is around 3% of Air Force Personnel are Pilots. As for what everyone else does? Few people know that the Air Force is not just an air power but they are our space command as well. Air Force maintain heavy missile ordinance, and augment army ground forces in Iraq.

Depends. They are my top 2 choices. If you want the best treatment and a relatively easy life for you and your family go Air Force. If you want combat go Army.

You're not giving enough info. Enlist? Commission? What kind of experience are you looking for in the military?
The lack of info tells me you haven't done your research. Go do that, then come back and open more detailed question.
P.S. The people who suggest the Air Force has to do with flying are morons. 3% is flight, most of it is similar to a corporate job. With uniforms.

It's 4 years of your life, you must deside.
Army: large, many jobs you can do, lots of which you can get shot.
Air Force: Easier, mostly either aircraft or support jobs, safer locations of bases usually.
What job do you want? That should make your choice.
If I had to choose, out of your 2 options, Air Force. My personal choice is navy.

The US air force would be a better choice because its way less physical training and its way safer than army. also both of the salaries are about the same so air force would be the way to go. Not saying anything about army because it sounds pretty cool too XD
