Raging Bull Revolvers?Anyone have anything good or bad to say about them?

Please only answer if you have expereince. Ive heard bad things about Taurus and have seen a lot of lemons with them. I wonder about their quality(not just the raging bull but all taurus guns). I saw a barrel blow right off one on youtube with factory loads. Taurus seems to have a lot of their revolvers out of time.I really like the looks of the Raging Bulls but am cautious about it.Im not to impressed with their customer service with my gf moms PT111 millinuim pro 9mm. She sent it to them 2 times 3 months wait both times and they didnt fix anything. A piece of the rail sheared off and all they did was reblue the area where the shinny sheared area was. That seems pretty crappy to me for customer service and quality control. Her gun did this with less that 20 rounds through it brand new.

Does anyone have anything good or bad to day about Taurus in general and what do you think about the Raging bull models?

    Few quick points:

I have several Taurus revolvers and all are trouble free, oldest has well over a thousand rounds through, no issues. Never a timing issue. Much of this comes from those who try to stage thier shots instead of using a smooth even trigger pull in DA.

I have owned several taurus semi-autos, and BOTH had issues. I think they're junk for the most part.

The youtube video is a guy at an indoor range with a rented gun thats had god knows how many rounds through it, and god knows what quality, and bet that they were reloads, which could have been loaded wrong.

I have heard nothing but bad about thier customer service, but H&K's sucks too, so its not all about how much you spend.

As for the raging bull in specific, i think its overkill, but thats your decision.

I have a PT111, and it is as reliable and accurate (for a snub) as any gun I've owned. I also have one of their .357 snub revolvers, a Single action in 45 Long Colt, and a 24/7. All have been trouble free guns.

I did own a Raging Bull in .454 mag. with a six inch ported barrel. It was a hand full to shoot, but the ported barrel did make it controllable. A real pleasure to shoot with .45 long Colt rounds. The Bull was a quality weapon, I just did not really have a use for it. Sold it to a local hunter who has become the scourge of the Mule deer population.

Just my humble opinion Newell, I mean JT, I mean Hunt&fish, but Taurus revolvers are complete crap. Trolls might like them, but normal people don't.
