Did you feel that DTV was a big let down?

I am in Canada, so we haven't switched yet, but I used to pick up all kinds of channels from neighbouring US city's. Now that the switch is said and done I hate DTV! I went to the US to buy a converter box for $70 dollars and the darn thing doesn't even pick up anything!

I bought it so I could watch a little US tv now and then (mostly so I could watch a live olympics coverage on CBC or CTV and then watch the event again taped delayed on the NBC affiliate of an neighbouring US city. I sometimes like to see an athlete I was pulling for win twice), and now I cant even do that!

It gets worse, this box cant even receive my local stations either. Sometimes if the weathers good I will get a little CBC tv, but that's it. My tv is primarily Analogue

I don't know who came up with this stupid idea, but its the most upset thing I have ever heard!

When Analogue goes black up here, I will be pointing my antenna in the direction of Analogue translators!

Thanks for putting up with my rant, sorry if it was long..

What are your thoughts?

    Yeah, it is all ********.

When an airplane passes or when we turn on the popcorn maker, it stops working until it finishes.

Also to see a different channel, I sometimes need to try to find the signal.
